Suwanna is a partner and director of
Sage Capital. She is responsible for
investment banking transactions in the
areas of M&A, IPO, fund raising, and
financial advisory. She has completed a
number of transactions including a loan
arrangement for Ananda Development Co.,
Ltd., the initial public offerings of
Prinsiri Plc. and 124 Communications
Plc., and the valuation of RS
International Broadcasting and Sport
Management Co., Ltd. She is currently
handling various M&A, fund raising, and
restructuring transactions. In addition,
Suwanna is active in distressed assets
trading, with more than Baht 10,000
million in principal value of trades
completed during the past 5 years.
During 1995-1998, Suwanna was assistant
vice president at Thaimex Finance and
Securities Plc., and during 1998-2003,
she was vice president of investment
banking at Finansa Securities. Her
responsibilities at Finansa and Thaimex
covered full-range investment banking
services. Her accomplishments included
Baht 5,000 million loan arrangement for
Prasit Patana Plc., Baht 4,110 million
capital restructuring of Thai Central
Chemical Plc., Baht 720 million tender
offer of The East Asiatic (Thailand)
Plc. by Thai-Dan Enterprises Ltd.
Suwanna has also completed many
financial advisory cases including the
employee stock option program (ESOP) of
TISCO Finance Plc., a fairness opinion
on a tender offer for Thai Poly Acrylic
Plc. by Ineos Acrylics UK Overseas Ltd.,
and the valuation of TISCO Finance’s
direct investment portfolio.
Suwanna received her B.S. degree with first class honors in economics from Kasetsart University in October 1991. With a scholarship from the Japanese government, she attended the School of Management at the Asian Institute of Technology (A.I.T.) where she received an M.B.A. in April 1994.
